Nature Studies

Wildflowers Nature Studies are carefully crafted to provide in-depth information to read-aloud to your children. Each study includes original illustrations of anatomy posters, lifecycle or fact cards to display and encourage the atmosphere for learning. Use them as guides or references to create your own illustrations.

Customise and make it your own. No homeschool family is alike. You will get to decide which activities will best suit your children. For the minimalists, read through the lessons and complete the custom coloring pages. A book list with a wide range of literature is often included to add to your book basket and enrich your studies. If your children are visual learners, clickable video links are also provided.

Children as young as 3 and as old as 12 can enjoy these topics and activities. Each study has detailed description of what’s included. Most will include block letters for literacy, Montessori three part cards that are used differently for different age range, early math, art appreciation, science and spelling.

Each nature unit study will include hands-on activities everyone will enjoy, whether it’s a science experiment, a recipe, art or crafts project. Selected poetry and copy-work to bring beauty into your homeschool and nurture young minds.

Art Studies

Wildflowers Art Studies include artists and basic principles of art like Color Theory and Elements of Art for budding artist and future designers to improve and take your artistic skills to the next level.

With each Art Unit Study, an easy to follow guide is included that tells you how to do a picture study, and teaches you how to harness your creativity. Read the biography that introduces the artist and where they were born. Geography and map work is seamlessly integrated into the studies.

Each art study also includes the art movement associated with the artist. There are carefully selected pieces to study, a fun art project and an inspirational quote for copy work. A booklist is included for suggested further reading, and video links. You will find that they compliment our Nature studies and create a well rounded education!
